The Sukha Sound Story
In 2018, Jordana, founder of Sukha Sound, embarked on a journey across Asia in search of the finest singing bowls to offer solace to a client battling a brain tumor. Little did she know, this quest would lead her to discover not only the therapeutic power of vibrations but also a remarkable teacher and soul friend, Guru Ajay.
Bonded by shared qualities and a serendipitous Lion’s Gate Portal birthday, Ajay and Jordana quickly formed a deep friendship. During her frequent visits to Nepal, Jordana would spend countless hours with Ajay, absorbing his wisdom of Vedic tradition, singing bowl practice, and energy healing. Affectionately dubbed “Rainbow Gaga” by Ajay and the Nepali community for her resemblance to the singer and vibrant aura, Jordana was regularly invited to infuse her "rainbow vibes" into Ajay's teachings for other students.
In December of 2021, Ajay's gentle spirit departed on the eve of an auspicious full moon, leaving behind a legacy of love and enlightenment. Determined to honor his memory and continue his mission, Jordana joined forces with Ajay's family to carry on his vision of spreading the soothing sounds of the Himalayas, which he affectionately called "sounds for peace."
The word "Sukha" holds deep significance in Sanskrit, representing both inner peace and the profound happiness that emanates from within. This is the essence of the tranquility and joy that Ajay imparted to his students and all who crossed his path. It is our hope that your journey be one of Sukha, filled with inner peace and boundless happiness.
